Recently I did some research on RSS Aggregators. I have never before heard of these so here is what I found. To aggregate means to combine or collect something. So an aggregator is a message from multiple sources. If a user subscribes to one they can pull up information at the users will. An example may include IM or email. Some good RSS feeds are NewzCrawler, FeedDemon, Google Reader, Bloglines, and Newsgator. There are a lot out there, but these are some that have good reviews. (http://websearch.about.com/od/dailywebsearchtips/qt/dnt0403.htm, http://email.about.com/od/rssreaderswin/tp/top_rss_windows.htm)
In order to find an RSS feed that you you will enjoy reading you can use a directory. Some directories include: http://www.syndic8.com/, http://www.newsisfree.com/, and http://blogstreet.com/rssdiscovery.html.
